Life in January
One month down, only 11 until Christmas! This is how my mind works.
The Book of the Unnamed Midwife by Meg Elison
One Born Every Minute - I've never watched this before but figured I should probably give it a watch and see what's coming. I cry at every episode, actual sobbing, because no matter what they've been through once that baby is born they all look so happy.
Everything that will show off my bump to it's full capacity. My favourite dress at the moment is this one and I also bought some dungarees because why the hell not!
I'd love to say that I'm eating all the salad but I'd be lying so:
Pick n Mix
Filthy - Justin Timberlake
Did You See - J-Hus
Don't Don't Do it! - N.E.R.D
Putting the Nursery together - It's making me so happy to add lots of little touches here and there and it's amazing the difference a new carpet and fresh paint makes to a room. Even though baby won't be in there about September/October it's nice to get it ready.
Surprise Visits from my Bestie - At New Year I found out that my very favourite person was coming back from LA to say hello! I wasn't expecting to see her until the Summer so needless to say I was over the moon to see her. Having your closest friend so far away, especially at such a huge time, is bloody hard.
Making New Friends - It's not a secret that I love people, and I love meeting new people, so imagine my delight at finding lots of new pregnant friends that I can discuss all of the symptoms that my other friends really don't want to hear! It is really lovely to talk to women who are going through the same thing. My favourite app to use is MUSH for finding people in the local area.
Booking Holidays - We booked our summer holiday to Portugal and I am SO looking forward to it! I am going to eat my weight in Peri-Peri and Pastel de Nata's.
Baby Clothes - They are just so tiny and I just can't stop buying them even though I'm trying really hard!
My Pregnancy Body - I know that this list is quite pregnancy heavy but I have to put this in here because for the first time in my entire life I am comfortable in my own skin and it's such a joy to wake up, look in the mirror and think that I look good. So yeah, I'm going to put it here because for years I've been unable to say 'I love my body' and why shouldn't I enjoy this moment.
